At the Scuderia Grande of Villa e Collezione Panza, Arcangelo Sassolino presents Time Tomb – La condizione del desiderio, an imposing metronome first conceived in 2009 for Z33 in Hasselt, Belgium, now reimagined for Villa Panza. The work features iron girders moved by a water compressor, enabling the slow swing of a long mechanical arm. At each end hangs a slab of white Carnia marble, a tribute to tradition and, for the artist, a symbol of the human condition through time. Curated by Angela Vettese.
